CVS/pharmacy is dedicated to developing procurement opportunities with a diverse community of suppliers helping them to grow and make valuable contributions to the global economic sustainability.  

To ensure that we continue to receive the highest quality products and services at the most economical costs, our Supplier Diversity Program is founded on the principles of fair and equitable business practices.  The goal of the program is to ensure that all suppliers have equal access to participate and succeed in CVS/pharmacy supplier programs.

Qualification Criteria

In order to become qualify as a “quality diverse supplier” to CVS/pharmacy, the Supplier should satisfy the following minimum criteria:

• Meet Minority Women Enterprise (MWBE) & Small Business Administration (SBA) criteria or be certified by authorized governing bodies such as the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), or Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
• Supply CVS with a copy of your certification from above organization
• Meet the same quality and ethical standards as all suppliers.  We expect every supplier to share our principals, values and integrity, as well as a strong competitive advantage.
• Have electronic capabilities and compatible systems integration to exchange data between parties.
• Respond to a sourcing questionnaire and request for proposal to meet other CVS guidelines.
